Taekwonkido and Taekwondo

I have been practicing Taekwonkido since 2011. It has become more than just a passion for me—this martial art is an integral part of my life.

Taekwonkido is a striking martial art, combining techniques from Taekwondo as well as Hapkido. It therefore includes striking techniques (kicks, punches, elbows, knees, open hands, etc.), joint locks, and throws.

As a combat sport, all techniques allowed in Taekwondo competitions are also permitted, but with the addition of punches to the face, throws, and takedowns. Fighting is practiced with the same protective gear as Taekwondo, but using boxing gloves instead of mitts.

It is also a unified teaching method developed by the founder of the discipline, Master Rémi Mollet.

I currently train at the Taekwondo Hapkido Club of Marseille, where I also serve as the assistant instructor.
